Use your Pen Drive as RAM

There are two types of memory we use for windows.

1. Physical memory
2. Virtual memory

Physical memory  is the hard disk
Virtual memory is also known as RAM (Random Access Memory)

Here we can know 

how to use virtual memory using a pen drive on Windows 7

 

 

At first,  we need at least 2GB pen drive.
If you have 4GB it will be better.
Now connect the pen drive to your computer.
Then-

1. Right clicking on "My Computer" & go to the properties option.

2. Follow this-
Advanced>Performance>Settings>Advanced >Change.

 
3. Now click on the change option below the window.
 

4. Now select your Pen Drive from the Drives (volume label) menu.

5. Select the 'Custom Size'. Then you can see the 2 blank boxes-
Initial size and Maximum size

 

 

6. Write the memory size in that box that you want to use as a RAM. 

7. For windows need 5MB blank memory so keep 5MB memory for windows.
 
8. Click OK and restart your computer.
Now your Pen Drive will work as a RAM.

N.B.: You must keep your Pen Drive inserting in the port always. Otherwise you will not use like that.
